Transmission Cable Accessories for Self-Contained and Pipe Type Cables

The American Light Company offers a variety of transmission cable accessories for low and high pressure, fluid and gas filled, self-contained and pipe type cable systems. Cable terminations are available for outdoor applications through 345kV and gas insulated substation designs through 345kV. Transition cable joints are available through 138kV.

Cable Accessories for Extruded Dielectric Cable: Cable Splices and Cable Joints

The American Light Company offers a variety of transmission cable accessories for extruded dielectric cable systems. Cable terminations are available for outdoor applications through 230kV and include porcelain or composite insulator options and pre-molded designs. Gas insulated substation designs are available through 230kV. Transition cable splices and cable joints are available through 138kV and include pre-molded designs. All terminations and joints incorporate built-in stress control and dielectric fluid. Dry type designs are also available for maximum ease of installation.
